Your Exit Strategy

Assignment 28A - Your Exit Strategy

1)    Identify the exit strategy you plan to make.
I intend to stay with my business and continue to grow and develop it, by adding different aspects to it. I plan to stay with it and then sell it off when I believe it has reached its potential, however, I will always stay a part of it.

2)    Why have you selected this particular exit strategy?
After completing the assignment “What’s Next?”, it really got me thinking about how this could not just be a company for one app but be developed in to so much more, to help make the everyday life of people easier. Therefore, I want to be involved in serving people and developing this as far as I see practical, then selling it off to someone who I see can carry on the customer service it its unique way. Always being a part of it means that I can constantly check in and influence how it functions.

3)    How do you think your exit strategy has influence the other decisions you’ve made in your concept?
This exit strategy shows that I have become attached to what I put into my business, as I want this life long connection with it. Therefore, everything I put into my concept I want to add value. Wanting to stay involved but also grow the company will come with limitations but also opportunities.

  1. I like your exit strategy because it's kind of the opposite of the one that I chose. It's a good example of what I could have done with my business if I had chose to follow a different exit strategy. We both created app ideas and theres definitely different routes that you can take as far as exiting go which is a cool concept for our idea because they don't require much physical assets.

  2. Hello Georgia!
This is an awesome post. I like your exit strategy very much. I chose to stay with my venture and protect it as a family business, but doing this is also another viable option. Being able to stick around and watch your business venture grow and to help nurture it along the way whether or not you are the one in charge is something that would be very special to see and very helpful to maintaining the business's roots and core practices.
    Thanks for sharing!
