2. Reflection on the feedback received from
your last pitch
From my Elevator Pitch 1, my feedback was pretty good on the
idea itself. Some feedback said that they would use this app and could see
someone investing in it. They also said that it could help revolutionize the
restaurant industry. I do not know much about apps so when someone said that it
was easy to develop an app and order number system, that stood out to me as
useful. What was also useful was that someone said it is applicable to a lot of
people. This makes me feel reassured. What surprised me was how much positive
feedback I got on my idea but that I only got a little constructive feedback.
In regards to the pitch itself, my feedback said I was “clear
and concise,” however, I think I could be more with more practice.
3. What did you change based on the feedback?
I feel that I did not get much feedback on what I could
change to improve, so I tried to practice more so that I felt more confident to
sound “clear and concise.” I also tried to add more structure and clean up what
I was saying, so I could describe the app in a different way and see if that
was more effective.

ReplyDeleteGreat pitch! I can tell you practiced it. I like that you set the scene first and then introduced your idea. I know that's something you told me to do which I will implement in my next video to make it more clear. As far as things you could change, if you really want to go all out, you could wear a blazer or something for the video but that's really not all that necessary.

It definitely is clearer and more concise. It also helps that this video has better light, it automatically made me more engaged. My feedback would be that it helps to remember your pitch, I know its difficult I even have to work on this, so that you do not have to gaze of to the side to look at your script. I myself need to improve on this, but I believe that it shows how passionate you are about it.
ReplyDeleteI really hope that you actually make this app. I would use it all the time and it would be so incredibly useful. Your pitch was incredibly smooth and seamless you really knocked it out of the park. I could definitely start going to more sit down restaurants if you did create this app so I'll be on the app store looking for it.
